Well Womens Lamarcus Joyner Jersey , Angeles Rams are in Phoenix to take on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 16. If they’re going to pull out the W, they’re going to have to do so without the services of RB Todd Gurley who has been sidelined with a knee injury. The absence will mark Gurley’s first game missed due to injury since missing the first two games of the 2015 season coming back off of an ACL injury to that same knee. With the Rams’ best offensive weapon out, the running back duties will go do reserve rookie RB John Kelly and new signing RB C.J. Anderson with reserve RB Justin Davis out and backup RB Malcolm Brown out for the season. All of that obviously sets up a pressured performance from QB Jared Goff who has not played well for the last three weeks coming out of the bye. Without Gurley, all eyes will be on the Rams’ franchise quarterback to step up and deliver a much needed win on the road against an inferior opponent. Two weeks to the playoffs... To be a productive member of the New England Patriots, it's usually best to approach the game plan each week with adaptive eyes.No one has learned that lesson more this season than receiver Cordarrelle Patterson. When he was traded by Oakland to the Patriots in March http://www.ramsfootballauthentics.com/john-johnson-jersey-authentic , Patterson arrived in New England hoping to land a place on Tom Brady's receiving corps following an offseason shake-up that saw the departures of both Brandin Cooks and Danny Amendola. But after a Week 3 neck injury sent veteran running back Rex Burkhead to injured reserve and rookie Sony Michel's knee injury in Week 7 stunted his strong start, it created a void at another position that itself was recovering from the free agency loss of Dion Lewis. The natural solution seemed to be an increased role for veteran James White. Instead the coaching staff chose creativity over predictability. Two productive games at running back later, Patterson has become the latest Patriots player to excel in an unconventional role in New England.Patterson led the Patriots with 61 rushing yards, including a 5-yard touchdown in their 31-17 victory over the Green Bay Packers Sunday night . It was the second straight week he led the team in rushing and came two weeks after he had a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown against the Bears. That's just about right for a player called "Flash" early in his career."I said I wanted 25 carries this week," Patterson said. "Whenever my number's called I'm being ready for whatever I need to do on the football field."Using Patterson out of the backfield isn't as much of a stretch as it might seem.Coach Bill Belichick said he noted the 6-foot-2 Youth Ndamukong Suh Jersey , 220-pounder's ability to make plays from there when studying his 2017 film with the Raider. He rushed 13 times for 121 yards and two scores with Oakland last season, an average of 9.3 yards per carry.Patterson was used by the Patriots on some reverses early in the season, again impressing his new coaches with his speed and power attacking holes."He's worked really hard with the ball handling, the reads, but boy http://www.ramsfootballauthentics.com/todd-gurley-ii-jersey-authentic , he runs hard. He runs fast and he's a hard guy to tackle," Belichick said. "Like a lot of our guys have, they just step in, fill the role that we need for them and help the team win, and that's really what it's all about."That's become the theme for role players under Belichick.Fullback James Develin was an undrafted defensive end out of Brown before finding a home as the Patriots' fullback. Matt Slater arrived in New England as a receiver but became its special teams captain and a seven-time Pro Bowler.White said Patterson's natural skillset and willingness to accept coaching have been his biggest attributes in acclimating to the Patriots' culture."He's a strong Youth Ramik Wilson Jersey , fast, explosive guy," White said. "He can score any time he touches the football and he's been trying to get better and better at it each week. The more he does it, the better he gets."Michel was questionable heading into Sunday's game with Green Bay and could return to action when the Patriots travel to Tennessee this week. For now, Patterson said he's trying to stay humble and hungry in the role he's been given 鈥?however long it lasts."I mean it's the next man up. It's the NFL. If you can play Authentic Tyler Higbee Jersey , you can play," He said. "We didn't like that the guys weren't ready, but every guy is going to step up because this is our job. This is our life."
en the foundation of the Oakland Raiders defense ever since McKenzie drafted him fifth overall in 2014 Womens John Sullivan Jersey , and the plan had always been to build the franchise around Mack and quarterback Derek Carr. One year after signing Carr to a long-term extension, the Raiders traded Mack to the Chicago Bears on Saturday for a package that included two first-round picks. The deal came after the two sides were unable to bridge a vast gap in initial offers made before the start of the new league year in March, with Mack willing to extend his holdout until the new deal came."My whole thought process was how to get Khalil in here," McKenzie said. "Absolutely, it was here at the end, it was in the final hour that it kind of just hit and it hit hard and heavy. It was not the plan to trade him at all."Oakland will get first-round selections in 2019 and 2020, a sixth-rounder next year and a third-rounder in 2020. Oakland also included its second-round selection in 2020 and a conditional fifth-rounder that year. It's a steep price but Mack is one of the game's top defensive players. The move came as a bit of a shock to some of Mack's former teammates.Carr tweeted "No way" and added: "#RaiderNation we feel your pain trust me but we need you next Monday night!" Oakland linebacker Bruce Irvin made his feelings clear with a profane post. He later wrote, "What a shock. Now move on and win.. time to beat the Rams!!""It's going to sting with them, as players protecting themselves," McKenzie said. "That's the way it should be. They're going to miss Khalil. I'm going to miss Khalil. We're all going to miss Khalil. Let's make that point known now. But we all will move on also.'Mack is a two-time All-Pro and the 2016 NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Mack has played in every game for Oakland since being drafted fifth overall in 2014, with 231 primary tackles, 40陆 sacks and nine forced fumbles.Since entering the league, Mack leads all players with 185陆 quarterback pressures and ranks second with 68 tackles for loss Youth Marcus Peters Jersey , according to SportRadar. But Mack never formed a relationship with new coach Jon Gruden, who left the broadcast booth to return to the sideline for a second stint in Oakland back in January. Mack held out for the entire offseason and preseason instead of playing under the final year of his rookie deal that would have earned him $13.8 million.Gruden had called Mack Oakland's best player but decided to go in a different direction rather than give another player a contract worth more than $20 million a year after Carr got a lucrative extension last summer. He then agreed to a six-year, $141 million extension with the Bears that guarantees him $90 million."We will pay top dollar," McKenzie said. "We just couldn't get around to giving Khalil what he wanted. We will pay top dollar to our top players. We just could not get it worked out for Khalil. That's just the way it is, the way it went. When it seemed like it was going that way, we seized the opportunity to go ahead and make the trade."The move was the biggest on a busy cutdown day that saw the Raiders waive receiver Martavis Bryant just over four months after trading a third-round pick to Pittsburgh for him; acquire backup quarterback AJ McCarron from Buffalo for a 2019 fifth-round pick; deal 2017 seventh-round safety Shalom Luani to Seattle for a 2019 seventh-round pick; and place cornerback Daryl Worley on the suspended list after he got a four-game ban Saturday for violating the NFL's policies on substance abuse and personal conduct.Among the other notable players cut were 2015 second-round defensive lineman Mario Edwards Jr. and 2016 fourth-round quarterback Connor Cook. Edwards' release means the Raiders now have none of their second-round picks from 2015-17 on the current roster, having previously cut ties with 2016 defensive tackle Jihad Ward and 2017 safety Obi Melifonwu. The Raiders also got nothing out of the third-round pick dealt to the Steelers for Bryant, who dealt with injuries in training camp and has had several off-field issues in his career. The other players cut Saturday were receivers Marcell Ateman, Saeed Blacknall and Isaac Whitney; tight ends Marcus Baugh, Pharoah Brown and Paul Butler; running backs James Butler and Ryan Yurachek; linebackers Jason Cabinda, James Cowser and Azeem Victor; defensive backs Jarell Carter, Antwuan Davis, Antonio Hamilton http://www.ramsfootballauthentics.com/jared-goff-jersey-authentic , Dallin Leavitt, Quincy Mauger, Raysean Pringle and Shareece Wright; defensive linemen Connor Flagel, Shakir Soto and Gabe Wright; and offensive linemen Cameron Hunt, Denver Kirkland, Jordan Simmons, Jylan Ware, Oday Aboushi and James Stone. The Raiders also placed defensive lineman Eddie Vanderdoes on the physically unable to perform list as he recovers from a torn ACL in last season's finale.Kicker Eddy Pineiro and running back Chris Warren III were both placed on injured reserve, and cornerback Dexter McDonald was waived with an injury designation. The Raiders also cut E.J. Manuel after the 53-man roster was finalized to make room for McCarron to be their backup quarterback. Manuel played well in the finale against Seattle on Thursday night, but too many turnovers earlier in the preseason led to the decision to get McCarron instead. The Los Angeles Rams secured their 1st round bye with their victory in week 17, earning some much needed rest. With Todd Gurley, Andrew Whitworth, and several other key players nursing injuries Youth Robert Woods Jersey , the bye will help us all sleep a little better as we watch Wild Card Weekend.Let’s take a look back at Hotdaddywags Rams to watch from last week and see how they performed.Aaron DonaldDonald was in peak form in the season finale, even though the stat sheet may not show it. He had an early sack and 3 more QB hits while fighting through double teams all game. We hear the term ‘generational talent’ more often than we should in the NFL, but Donald truly is a man among boys in the trenches.C.J. AndersonTodd who?I kid, but in all honestly Anderson has been a godsend to Jared Goff and this offense. He is a yard shy of 300 yards in the last 2 games and has given the Rams another aspect to their running game to take some pressure off the young QB’s shoulders.I can’t wait to see how McVay works Anderson into the gameplan when Gurley is healthy.Gerald EverettEverett was a ghost. There’s no nice way to put it. Sure the Rams didn’t need him to be a huge contributor, but he didn’t even get a target from Goff. The resurgence of the running game is opening up big play-action gains for the Rams, but I’d personally like to see young Gerald more involved in the short passing game.Mark BarronBarron is an enigma. He will make a big play, then shoot himself in the foot several plays later. At this point he is what he is though. He’s an inconsistent player capable of making some impact plays, but you have to learn to live with his brain farts as well.I’m not sure he’ll be around in 2019.Aqib TalibJust as C.J. Anderson has been a godsend for the offense, Talib has been the same for the defense. With a competent DB opposite him, Marcus Peters has been much improved and the LBs haven’t been relied upon to cover as much in coverage. The end result is a Rams defense that can be aggressive and try to make the big play - knowing that the back end is covered (for the most part).
Kyle Williams is going back to the Pro Bowl http://www.billsfootballauthentics.com/stephen-hauschka-jersey-authentic , the Buffalo Bills announced Monday.be the only Bills player in attendance. The trip is Williams’s sixth Pro Bowl appearance. In 2017, he was passed over for the first healthy time in the since 2010. He missed the second half of the seasons in 2011 and 2015.The Titans placed Casey on Injured Reserve the day before Christmas as the DT was dealing with a sprained MCL. Williams admitted during his farewell tour that he would love to represent the Bills at the Pro Bowl one more time and he’s getting his wish. “The opportunity to go represent the organization one more time, I’d definitely jump at that http://www.billsfootballauthentics.com/star-lotulelei-jersey-authentic ,” he said at the time. The Pro Bowl will take place on January 27th at 3:00 p.m. Eastern.Williams is just the third Bills defensive player to play in six Pro Bowls joining DE Bruce Smith (11) and LB Mike Stratton (6), according to the Bills’ press release. The Vikings were the biggest favorites in the league for Week Three, but anyone betting on them to cover the spread is unlikely to be seeing a return on that wagerThe Bills are up 27-0 after completely rolling over the Vikings in the first half of Sunday’s game at U.S. Bank Stadium. Josh Allen has run for two touchdowns and thrown for another while the Bills defense shut down everything the Vikings tried to do over the first 30 minutes. The Vikings managed two first downs http://www.buffalobillsteamonline.com/lorenzo-alexander-jersey , Kirk Cousins lost two fumbles on Buffalo sacks and the Bills enjoy a 245-46 edge in yards from scrimmage. Some might argue that the Vikings are looking ahead to Sunday’s game against the Rams and that may be true, but it doesn’t go far enough to explain how much better Buffalo has been through the first 30 minutes this weekend. Playing without LeSean McCoy and coming off a pair of blowouts, the Bills have had success with everything they’ve tried and turned the game into a laugher that no one saw coming.
pearances with four. Most fans celebrate this accomplishment; instead of calling the Bills the biggest losers of all-time http://www.billscheapshop.com/cheap-authentic-jordan-mills-jersey , we rightfully recognize that winning four straight conference championships was a remarkable and unmatched feat. However, the New England Patriots can do just that next year. With the apparently-ageless Tom Brady becoming the oldest quarterback to ever win a Super Bowl and Bill Belichick showing no signs of joy or slowing down after becoming the oldest head coach to win the big game, the very real possibility exists that the Patriots could make a fourth straight run to the Super Bowl during the 2019 season, equaling Buffalo’s historic run from the early 1990s.Multiple members of those Bills teams have said it couldn’t be done in today’s NFL, but not only do the Patriots continue to win division championships, they don’t seem to be stopped very often in the playoffs. They’ve been in four of the last five Super Bowl games. Add on top of that the discourse all over the AFC, and there are only one or two teams that even stand an early but realistic chance at dethroning New England. In the AFC East, the Bills might be able to make the leap forward they need in 2019, but that’s hardly a given. They were able to hold the Patriots to 24 and 25 points in the two games this year, but with a sagging offense http://www.billscheapshop.com/cheap-authentic-charles-clay-jersey , the Bills couldn’t even muster 20 combined points in the two contests. They’ll need to drastically improve on that side of the ball to beat New England. The New York Jets and Miami Dolphins both fired their head coaches this off-season and are in the middle of rebuilds. Miami did beat the Patriots in 2018, however. The Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts feature good enough offenses to beat New England, but don’t have the experience of having won anything in the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Tennessee Titans knocked off the Patriots during the regular season, but finished the year 9-7 with another bad offensive output. The Jacksonville Jaguars, also sporting a good defense and terrible offense, fell flat on their collective face in 2018 after nearly defeating New England in the playoffs the previous year.We all hoped the Kansas City Chiefs could knock off the giant, but they fell to the Patriots in this year’s AFC Championship. New England blew out the Los Angeles Chargers in the divisional round in 2018. The Denver Broncos just hired another new head coach and the Oakland Raiders are picking near the top of the 2019 NFL Draft. That leaves the traditional power in the AFC North, where the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers have been able to reach the Super Bowl over the last decade. But the Steelers have internal fighting on their offense, with their best receiver allegedly throwing a football at his quarterback and not showing up to work. The Ravens have replaced their formerly-elite quarterback with Lamar Jackson http://www.billscheapshop.com/cheap-authentic-jordan-poyer-jersey , which was enough to get them in the playoffs but not enough to do anything while they were there. The Cincinnati Bengals are going through a massive overhaul for the first time in forever. Could the Cleveland Browns make the leap with their swaggering quarterback and loads of cap space?Who can topple the Patriots in 2019 to prevent a fourth straight Super Bowl appearance?I’m going with the Indianapolis Colts, who have a ton of cap space, a seasoned quarterback, a quality offensive line, and an innovative coach with a Super Bowl pedigree. They can spend the money to improve the defense this off-season and they went 9-1 down the stretch of the regular season. Save us again, Frank Reich. The Buffalo Bills are going with newly signed journeyman Matt Barkley as their starting quarterback, rather than provide turnover-prone Nathan Peterman another chance. The Bills ruled out injured rookie Josh Allen on Saturday and announced Barkley is expected to start against the New York Jets on Sunday. Barkley gets the nod ahead of Peterman despite having just two weeks of practice experience since signing Oct. 30.Barkley will become the fourth quarterback to start for the team this season, and third in three weeks. It will be his first start in two years since going 1-5 with the Chicago Bears in 2016.Allen will miss his fourth straight game since spraining his right throwing elbow in a 20-13 loss at Houston on Oct. 14. The first-round pick practiced on a limited basis this week and will get additional time to recuperate with Buffalo entering its bye week after playing the Jets.Veteran backup Derek Anderson had already been ruled out with a concussion. The Bills also announced starting rookie middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds has been cleared to play after missing one game with a concussion. They also promoted receiver Robert Foster from the practice squad and released linebacker Ramon Humber.Buffalo (2-7) has lost four straight and is off to its worst start since losing eight of its first nine games in 2010.The game between the two AFC East teams will feature a matchup of backups rather than first-round picks. The Jets (3-6) are starting 39-year-old Josh McCown with rookie Sam Darnold sidelined by a strained right foot. Darnold was drafted third overall, four spots ahead of Allen.Barkley is on his sixth team in six seasons since being selected by Philadelphia in the fourth round of the 2013 draft. He was most recently in Cincinnati before being cut by the Bengals in September after hurting his knee in a preseason game."It hasn't maybe been the plan I signed up for when I thought of going to the NFL," Barkley said of his pro career http://www.billscheapshop.com/cheap-authentic-jerry-hughes-jersey , which came after he set numerous school records as a four-year starter at Southern California. "But from what I've been able to learn along the way, I think I'm in a great spot right now."Overall, Barkley has gone 159 for 266 for 1,911 yards passing with eight touchdowns and 18 interceptions in 11 NFL appearances. That's much better than Peterman's production since being selected in the fifth round of the 2017 draft.Peterman has thrown seven interceptions in four appearances this season, including three in a 41-9 loss to Chicago last weekend. Overall, he's thrown 12 interceptions in eight appearances and is best remembered for getting picked off five times in the first half of a 54-24 loss at the Los Angeles Chargers a year ago.The Bills offense has struggled no matter who's started this season.Buffalo has scored a league-worst 96 points and just two touchdowns in its past four games. The quarterbacks have combined for just three touchdowns passing and 16 interceptions, including five by Allen.
As the days continue to pile up http://www.authenticsdallascowboys.com/cheap-jeff-heath-jersey , the Cowboys playoff loss to the Los Angeles Rams grows farther in the distanceail from the contest has emerged.According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, defensive tackle Antwaun Woods tore his labrum in the second quarter of the game in LA. Remarkably http://www.authenticsdallascowboys.com/cheap-anthony-brown-jersey , he played through it over the course of the rest of the game. Woods took to Twitter to corroborate the report and chime in why he fought through the pain.Rapoport also notes that Woods had surgery on Thursday. This we knew thanks to Woods’ Instagram account (and the BTB Twitter which you should definitely be following). Thankfully, he will reportedly be ready to go in the spring.Antwaun Woods is one of the more interesting finds that the Cowboys have had recently. He’s gelled nicely into the locker room Color Rush Connor Williams Jersey , he was a champion of the “Hot Boyz” moniker, and become an important player in the heart of Rod Marinelli’s defensive line. He’s also a warrior. We’re lucky to have him. Get well soon Youth Tyron Smith Jersey , Antwaun. David Akers is probably still telling people all about how he helped the Philadelphia Eagles take Dallas Goedert away from the Cowboys during the draft a few months back (a fable and not the truth), but he might have to tell a different story now regarding Amari Cooper. The Dallas Cowboys got a new number one receiver on Monday when they traded their 2019 first-round pick for the former Oakland Raider. Cowboys fans are definitely interested in what Amari can bring Color Rush Allen Hurns Jersey , but they’re obviously troubled by the team paying such a high price. It wasn’t only the Cowboys that were prepared to pay something sizable for Cooper though, at least according to NFL Media’s Mike Silver. The Philadelphia Eagles offered a second-round pick and were outbid by their division rivals. It would have been interesting to see Cooper work with Carson Wentz and Alshon Jeffery inside of Doug Pederson’s offense Color Rush Leighton Vander Esch Jersey , but the Cowboys were willing to pay more so they got their guy. If Cooper works out in Dallas this story will be one we re-tell for years to come. How do you feel knowing that Philly was also highly interested in Cooper? Custom Kansas City Chiefs Jerseys
orial Coliseum in good spirits. The team had enjoyed a convincing victory over the Seattle Seahawks Dallas Cowboys Hats , had won three games in a row and eight of their last nine games to forge a formidable unit going into the divisional round of the NFC playoffs. But the strong, physical defensive unit that we’ve enjoyed watching throughout the 2018 season was nowhere to be found Saturday night. Instead we were witness to an abysmal defensive unit that posed little resistance to the Rams’ offensive juggernaut. The Cowboys eventually lost 30-22 in a game where the Cowboys made the final score much closer than it deserved to be. In short, the Cowboys were dominated and physically beaten on both sides of the line of scrimmage throughout the entire game. Let’s go to the grades. Overall: DI predicted the Cowboys would play their best, most complete game of the season. Instead, they played one of their worst, not remotely approaching a winning effort. I can think of only a single player who met or exceeded expectations (Michael Gallup). Every other player, every unit, was outplayed. The defense, in particular, was exposed, surrendering:273 rushing yards - most in Cowboys’ playoff history459 total yards - second most in Cowboys’ playoff historyNearly 37 minutes time of possessionIn addition to being pummeled by the Rams’ ground game all night, the defense made no plays - at all. Zero sacks, zero turnovers and only one punt forced the entire game. Offensively things were minimally better, as the Cowboys somehow managed to put 22 points on the board. This despite a running game that was completely shut down (only 50 yards on 22 attempts) and converting only one of ten third-down attempts (worst conversion rate on the season). The offense netted only 308 yards the entire game, meaning the Rams out-gained Dallas by 151 yards (459 to 308)The only reason the team avoids an F is despite all this they somehow managed to make a game of it. A late third-quarter touchdown and two-point conversion created a one-score game. And a late TD just prior to the two-minute warning also created a one-score game. But, of course, the Dallas defense couldn’t get a stop. The Rams simply ran for two first downs to run the clock out Dallas Cowboys Hoodie , an 11-yard scramble by Jared Goff on third down being the back-breaker. Coaching: FHere’s what I wrote of Jason Garrett prior to the game:Needless to say Garrett didn’t share my way of thinking. Garrett and offensive coordinator Scott Linehan lined up and ran the same plays and the same concepts and added absolutely nothing new, different or out of character. They did go for it on four different fourth down opportunities so there’s that. The stubbornness was on full display on the first play of the fourth quarter. The Cowboys had clawed to within eight points (23-15) and had forced their one and only punt of the game. Facing a fourth and 1 from the Rams’ 35, the brain-trust decided to go to a jumbo package with a tight formation. You’ll never believe it but the plunge up the middle failed to gain the needed yards and the game was pretty much over. I guess banging your head against a wall enough makes you think it’s fun. I’ll also note that for the third time in Jason Garrett’s five playoff games the team faced a double-digit deficit before halftime:2014 - Detroit Lions: trailed 14-0 after 13 minutes2016 - Green Bay: trailed 21-3 after 21 minutes2018 - Los Angeles: trailed 20-7 after 26 minutesThat’s a combined 55-10 for those counting. Three times Jason Garrett’s playoff teams have emerged from the locker room unprepared for the game. They’ve been beaten up, run over and outclassed from the opening whistle. Give them credit for coming back and making the games competitive (even winning one) but one has to ask why Garrett’s teams repeatedly play horrid opening quarters in their most important games. Quarterback: CDak Prescott had a quintessential Dak Prescott game. He started out hot, going 3-for-3 for 48 yards and a touchdown strike to Amari Cooper:And then we got bad Dak. Prescott looked flustered and inaccurate as the offense punted on each of the team’s next four possessions. With no ground game whatsoever to help, Prescott was asked to put the team on his back and wasn’t able to do it. Of course, he did perk up in the final 20 minutes, as he always seems to. He led the team on two touchdown drives sandwiched around the drive doomed by the fourth-down failure. His best play of the night came on a pinpoint strike off an improvised scramble:Prescott also hit Cooper for a two-point conversion and later ran for a touchdown. But it was all too little too late. One Prescott oddity: the losing quarterback has posted the higher passer rating in all three playoff games Dak has played:Michael StrawnDak wasn’t the problem Saturday night, but he also wasn’t the solution. Running back: B-I honestly don’t know how to grade Ezekiel Elliott. He had no lanes to run through as the Rams made it their priority to stop Zeke from eating. Elliott had one 15-yard run and a 12-yard catch and that’s about it. He did make a key block on the early Cooper touchdown. But when the league’s leading running back’s biggest contribution was a block you know it was a bad night. Offensive line: D-The offensive line was simply inept. Playing against a defense that allowed more yards per carry than any other NFL team, the Cowboys’ averaged a putrid 2.27 YPA; the second lowest mark in the team’s playoff history (shockingly, the worst number was the team’s victory over Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XXX). Aaron Donald and the rest of the Rams’ much-maligned front seven simply punished the Cowboys’ offensive line. Prescott was only sacked once (a dubious sack at that) but also didn’t have tons of time in the pocket. It was a poor effort from a unit that started the season as the team’s best and ended as perhaps its worst. Wide receivers: B+If any unit showed up to play Saturday night it was this group. Gallup and Cooper combined to catch 12 balls on 18 targets for 184 yards and a touchdown. Gallup’s over-the-shoulder catch set up another touchdown and Cooper also hauled in a two-point conversion. There simply weren’t enough opportunities for this group. Tight ends: CAgain, I’m not real sure how to grade the tight ends. Dalton Schultz and Blake Jarwin did make three catches on four targets for 37 yards. But they were mostly called on to block and obviously the overall blocking was woefully inadequate. Defensive line: FIf Demarcus Lawrence, Tyrone Crawford or Randy Gregory made a play Saturday night I missed it. The stat sheet indicates they combined for six tackles, one tackle for loss, zero sacks, zero fumbles, zero pressures and zero passes defensed. Zero is a good way to describe the way this unit performed as they were thoroughly whipped in every way imaginable. Again Customized Dallas Cowboys Jerseys , the Rams punted once the entire game. Their drive table (courtesy of Pro Football Reference) is a disaster:Five drives of 64 yards or moreSix scoring drives (only a missed field goal prevented it from being seven)Three drives of 11 or more playsFive drives of at least four minutes; two of more than seven minutesMany believed the Dallas defense to be an elite unit but we should all disabuse ourselves of that notion. Here’s how that “elite” unit did the final six weeks of the season:Those are bottom ten in the league kind of numbers. Linebackers: FWhen the opponent runs at will, from opening whistle to final gun, linebackers have to be held accountable. The dynamic duo of Jaylon Smith and Leighton Vander Esch, along with Sean Lee, simply couldn’t get it done. They were credited with 20 tackles but most of them seemed to be five or more yards beyond the line of scrimmage. Like the defensive line there were zero splash plays from this unit. It was a stunning development for the two youngsters who truly did play at an elite level most of the season.Secondary: C+This unit didn’t give up many big plays but that’s mostly because they weren’t tested much. Goff was largely held in check, throwing for only 186 yards with a long play of only 21. But whenever the Rams needed him to make a play he was able to do it, as the Rams moved the ball at will. Like the other units, I don’t recall a single standout play from the secondary. The only noteworthy play was a horribly timed penalty on Byron Jones. Dallas had actually forced the Rams’ into a rare 3rd-and-long but Jones’ penalty allowed them to convert. It was particularly frustrating because:The infraction was away from the playHad the Rams completed their pass it wasn’t enough for a first downThe hands-to-the-face call was borderline (at best)Todd Gurley ran 35 yards for a touchdown two plays laterSpecial teams: BNothing really noteworthy from this group. On the positive side the coverage units didn’t allow a long return for (seemingly) the first time in months. Brett Maher converted his two extra point attempts and Chris Jones punted. Summary:I can’t help but wonder about Jason Garrett. He simply doesn’t seem to rise to the occasion. His teams don’t play their best when the stakes are highest. This isn’t new, as when we look back even the not-so-great teams of the 2011-2013 had chances to advance but always played poor in those win-and-advance games. I like Garrett and the overall job he’s done. But I’m wondering if reaching the NFL’s final eight is his ceiling? The Cowboys haven’t played terrible in all of their post-season losses but they’ve never come close to playing their best games. When you look at Super Bowl champions those team peaked in the playoffs and played their best games. Jason Garret’s teams don’t. And that’s a problem for a franchise that hasn’t reached the final four for 23 consecutive seasons.Cowboys vs. Texans: Five things to watch includes Prescott avoiding pressure and attacking the Texans secondary The Dallas Cowboys will square off against the Houston Texans in a battle of Texas on Sunday night. The Cowboys are trying to build off momentum after their last-second win over the Detroit Lions. The Texans are coming off a big win themselves, a 37-34 overtime victory against division foes as the Indianapolis Colts gave them their first win of the season. Will the Cowboys be able to emerge victorious and claim state bragging rights on their way to posting their first winning record of the year. Or will they drop a game under .500 for the third time this season? There will be a lot of things to watch on Sunday night, but here are five things that will have my attention when the Cowboys meet the Texans.1. Wild Card WatsonBefore Deshaun Watson suffered a knee injury last year, he was putting together quite the impressive rookie season. In the four games prior to his injury, Watson was torching defenses in a variety of different ways, averaging four touchdown passes per game and adding another 35 yards per game on the ground. He’s come back down to earth this season, averaging slightly less than two touchdowns per game and throwing an interception in each one so far.The Texans offensive line is not very good, which will not only make it difficult for them to run the ball with Lamar Miller, but also create a lot of pressure for Watson. The young quarterback is accustomed to it though as he’s become very familiar with running around in the pocket. Even though he’ll be on the run www.authenticsdallascowboys.com , Watson can still be very dangerous. He’s not afraid to use his legs to move the chains or let loose with a big throw down the field. Which brings me to...2. Watson’s favorite weaponDeAndre Hopkins had an All-Pro year last season with 96 catches for 1,378 yards. He also caught 13 touchdown passes. No other receiver even reached double-digit TD’s. Hopkins burst back on the scene last season thanks largely in part to his new quarterback who could air it out, allowing him to be the most targeted wide receiver last season with 174 total targets. He already has 44 targets so far this season, which puts him on pace to eclipse last year’s target mark. How will Hopkins fare against the Cowboys outside corners? Despite having a lot of yards against him, Chidobe Awuzie has been smothering receivers. He has the ability to stay with Hopkins stride for stride, but he will need to get his head turned around quick enough or otherwise the Texans star receiver will pluck the ball right out in front of him. And if Hopkins faces off against Byron Jones, that will be a great battle to watch. Jones is having an outstanding season so far, currently grading out as the top corner in the league based on Pro Football Focus. This could be Jones’ most challenging matchup so far and may serve as a litmus test to determine if he truly is a shutdown corner.3. Don’t let Jadeveon clown aroundThis is usually the time we talk about how the Cowboy need to focus on stopping J.J. Watt from wreaking havoc in the trenches. And for good reason, when healthy, Watt’s one of the top pass rushers in the game. Watt is healthy now and is currently second in the league in sacks with five (I’m trying to remember off hand who’s no. 1, I swear I know this one!). While Watt is always someone to worry about, there’s another edge rusher that is cause for concern for the Cowboys as well - Jadeveon Clowney. After being taken first overall in the 2014 NFL Draft, Clowney has had a slow start, missing games in each of his first three seasons. He finally was healthy enough to play in all 16 games last year and managed to rack up 9.5 sacks on the season. Not too shabby. He had a great game on Sunday, sacking Andrew Luck twice and recovering a fumble in the end zone. It was good enough to earn him AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors.Tyron Smith is going to have his hands full on Sunday night as Clowney is playing at a high level right now. But it won’t just be Smith that has to worry about Clowney’s whereabouts. Texans defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel likes to move him around so he can attack from any position on the line. He’s quick around the edge, but he also has the power to burst through the middle. If Clowney lines up over the nose like a blitzing linebacker, backup center Joe Looney and rookie Connor Williams need to be ready. It must be nice to have such a talented edge rusher like this on the roster. Oh Dallas Cowboys T-Shirt , wait...4. Corral CouteeWhile Hopkins is the perennial All-Pro receiver, he’s not the only receiver who can do some damage on Sunday. The Texans also have their 2016 first-round pick Will Fuller who can be trouble when he’s healthy, but that’s been a real issue for him as he’s missed games in each of his first three seasons in the league. Currently, he’s dealing with a hamstring issue and his availability for Sunday is uncertain. The Texans have yet another receiving weapon in hometown boy Keke Coutee, the Texas Tech product who was selected in the fourth round in April’s draft. Coutee has been dealing with a hamstring injury that kept him on the shelf for the first three games, but he was back last week against the Indianapolis Colts and didn’t waste any time making a splash. Coutee had 15 targets, catching 11 passes for 109 yards. He would also have two rushes.Coutee looks like that dynamic whatever-back that the Cowboys were hoping to get from Tavon Austin. The only difference is - the Texans seem committed to using him extensively. This will challenge the Cowboys slot corner Anthony Brown to hang with the young speedster to limit the damage he can do on offense. The Cowboys defense is still struggling giving up big plays in the passing game so they better have a plan to corral Coutee on Sunday. As Next Gen Stats indicates, he’s very dangerous once the ball is in his hands.5. Can Dak attack?Last week the Cowboys went against a team that was strong in the secondary, yet vulnerable to the run so it wasn’t surprising to see Ezekiel Elliott run wild against them. This week, the tables are turned a bit as the Texans are pretty good against the run (ranked ninth at 94 ypg), whereas against the pass they are suspect (ranked 27th at 288 yards a game). The Texans have holes on defense and they lie in the secondary. The question becomes - can Dak take advantage? It’s not like Dallas can’t run the ball, because they can. The Cowboy will still throw a heavy dose of Zeke at them. But Dak is going to have to make plays if they are to going to win this game.Prescott’s pocket awareness causes him to rattle easy and with Watt and Clowney breathing down his neck, it’s not going to be easy for him to step up in the pocket comfortably and make throws. He’ll need to be sharp with his reads and get the ball out quickly. The Texans defensive line loves to strip the ball away and sometimes Dak will oblige as he loses track of where the defenders are. A poised Prescott who can attack this Texans secondary is a must if Dallas is going to leave Sunday with a winning record. What will you be watching on Sunday night? Custom Los Angeles Rams Jerseys
ARLINGTON Bryce Harper Jersey , Texas (AP) —Angels, and the right-hander was rather effective in his return. Shoemaker threw five scoreless innings in his first start for the Angels in more than five months , since the opening weekend of the season after also missing the final 3 1/2 months last year with a right forearm strain, to get them started in a 3-1 victory over the Texas Rangers on Monday night.“Matty looked like he didn’t skip a beat from what we saw when he was pitching well throughout his career,” manager Mike Scioscia said. “His stamina is not quite there, but he maintained his stuff, maintained his velocity.”After singles by two of the first three batters he faced, Shoemaker retired 13 of his last 14. He walked Shin-Soo Choo with two outs in the third before Rougned Odor grounded into a double play — the MLB-best 148th turned by the Angels this season.“You don’t really call it nerves. I guess it’s partly that, partly adrenaline, especially having this long of a layoff,” Shoemaker said. “Best way to sum it up, excited Stephen Strasburg Jersey , ready to go, get out there, step up on the mound and just go out there and pitch. A lot of fun.”Shoemaker said he felt great physically after he struck out three and threw 42 of 62 pitches for strikes. He missed 134 games after going on the disabled list following his March 31 start. His final game in 2017 came in mid-June of that season.Rangers third baseman Jurickson Profar said Shoemaker was mixing his pitches well to keep hitters off balance.“He had a good fastball and a good split finger,” Profar said. Taylor Ward snapped a scoreless tie with his seventh-inning homer , a two-run shot that helped make rookie reliever Taylor Cole (1-2) a first-time winner. Cole went 1 1/3 innings after relieving Shoemaker.Blake Parker, the sixth Angels pitcher, worked the ninth for his 14th save. All of the Los Angeles runs came off Zac Curtis (0-1), the third pitcher for the Rangers on a night they started the game with two scoreless innings by reliever Jeffrey Springs before fellow rookie Ariel Jurado’s four innings.“Those two kids threw the ball extremely well,” manager Jeff Banister said. “Put six zeroes on the board to get you to the seventh, that’s about the best you can ask for.”Jose Fernandez led off the Angels seventh against Curtis with a single and Ward, their 2015 first-round draft pick in his 18th big league game, lined a shot into the left field seats for his third homer. Curtis then struck out Jose Briceno http://www.nationalsfanproshop.com/authentic-gio-gonzalez-jersey , but the Los Angeles catcher reached on a wild pitch and later scored on David Fletcher’s single . Joey Gallo had an RBI double that ricocheted off the right field wall in the bottom of the inning, and Texas had the bases loaded with two outs when Justin Anderson struck out pinch-hitter Ronald Guzman .SHORT HOPSAdrian Beltre, baseball’s active career hits leader, led off the Texas ninth with his 3,145th career hit. … Elvis Andrus had three of the Rangers five hits. … The Rangers (60-78) were officially eliminated from AL West contention with the loss.TRAINER’S ROOMAngels: OF Justin Upton was held out of his second game since a mild concussion Saturday. “Better but he’s not quite ready,” Scioscia said. “There’s a protocol when there’s a concussion that you have to follow.” … RHP Shohei Ohtani was evaluated after coming out of his pitching return early Sunday, and Scioscia is hopeful the two-way rookie will be good to make his next scheduled start Sunday. Scioscia said Ohtani’s elbow feels great.Rangers: Utility infielder Hanser Alberto is expected to be activated off the DL on Tuesday. He has been out since Aug. 25, a day after a right hamstring strain on the same day he was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock.UP NEXTA matchup of lefty starters when Andrew Heaney (8-8) pitches for the Angels and Mike Minor (10-7) goes for the Rangers. Heaney, 0-3 with a 10.38 in three previous starts at Texas, threw six scoreless innings in a win Thursday at AL West-leading Houston. Minor will make his 25th start after missing all of 2015-16 (torn labrum left shoulder) and pitching exclusively in relief for Kansas City last year. ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Major League Baseball is changing the name of its disabled lists to injured lists.Deputy Commissioner Dan Halem said Thursday the change is being made at the suggestion of advocacy groups for the disabled, including the Link20 Network.Clubs were notified of the change in a Dec. 20 memo to clubs from Jeff Pfeifer Anthony Rendon Jersey , senior director of league economics and operations in the commissioner’s office. The change was first reported by ESPN.“In recent years, the commissioner has received several inquiries regarding the name of the ‘Disabled List,'” Pfeifer wrote. “The principal concern is that using the term ‘disabled’ for players who are injured supports the misconception that people with disabilities are injured and therefore are not able to participate or compete in sports. As a result, Major League Baseball has agreed to change the name ‘Disabled List’ to be the ‘Injured List’ at both the major and minor league levels. All standards and requirements for placement, reinstatement, etc., shall remain unchanged. This change, which is only a rebranding of the name itself, is effective immediately.”The major leagues have had disabled lists of 10 and 60 days, plus a seven-day list only for players with concussions. MLB has proposed to the players’ association that the 10-day list go back to a 15-day minimum, its level before 2017.
k Yankees to the Chicago Cubs for a player to be named or $2.The 26-year-old was designated for assignment Monday to clear a roster spot when the Yankees claimed right-hander Parker Bridwell off waivers from the Los Angeles Angels. The trade was announced Wednesday.Torreyes was acquired by the Cubs from Cincinnati in December 2011 and spent 1½ seasons in Chicago’s minor league system. His contract was purchased by Houston in July 2013 Juan Marichal Jersey , by Toronto in May 2015 and by the Los Angeles Dodgers the following month. He made his major league debut with the Dodgers that September and was traded to the Yankees in January 2016. In quick succession he was claimed off waivers by the Angels and re-claimed by the Yankees.Torreyes hit .292 with 36 RBIs in 315 at-bats over 108 games in 2017, but spent much of this year at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and batted .280 with seven RBIs in 100 at-bats over 41 games for the Yankees. He is eligible for salary arbitration for the first time. DENVER (AP) — Trevor Story is going over the top to get back on the field, altering his throwing motion to take some of the stress off his sore right elbow. The Colorado Rockies All-Star shortstop returned to the lineup Monday night after missing a week with the ailment. Story batted fifth as the playoff-chasing Rockies opened a four-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies.“It’s tough just sitting and watching,” Story said. “It’s not ideal. The timing of it was pretty brutal. Just really tried to keep my focus .on the treatment and getting better.”Story tweaked his elbow on a throw in the first inning Sept. 17 in Los Angeles and aggravated it on a swing in the fourth.“It’s gotten better every single day, and I’m ready to play http://www.giantsfanproshop.com/authentic-orlando-cepeda-jersey ,” Story said.Story has been practicing throwing from a more straightaway angle, which cuts down on elbow stress. He also worked on spin moves Sunday in Arizona and said “it felt good,” he said. “There are little things I can do to take pressure off.”At the plate, the elbow doesn’t really bother him.“But you can’t say so until the game,” he quickly added. The 25-year-old Story is in the midst of a breakout season Gaylord Perry Jersey , hitting .288 with 33 homers and 102 RBIs. He recently became the first shortstop in major league history with at least 40 doubles, 30 home runs and 25 steals in a season. His return couldn’t come at a more opportune time. The Rockies started Monday trailing the NL West-leading Dodgers by 1½ games. It’s a name that manager Bud Black was all too happy to pencil back into the heart of the order behind Nolan Arenado, who has 34 homers and 103 RBIs this season.“He’s one of our best players. He plays a premium position and hits in the middle of the order. So it’s quite a presence we didn’t have for a week of games,” Black said. “He’s one of our core players and one of best in the National League.”In other Rockies health news, left-hander Tyler Anderson was scratched from his start after he experienced shoulder soreness and replaced by right-hander Jon Gray. Starter-turned-reliever Chad Bettis is slated to pitch Tuesday.“We decided to do what’s best for the team http://www.giantsfanproshop.com/authentic-dave-dravecky-jersey ,” said Anderson, 6-9 with a 4.76 ERA this season. “It’s frustrating. I want to take the ball every fifth day. I can’t think about that now, I just have to think about getting back as quick as I can.”
Here’s a quick look at the NFL’s early slate in Week 10 Customized Los Angeles Rams Jerseys , all of which kickoff at 1pm EST: New Orleans Saints (7-1) Night Football, the Pittsburgh Steelers now sit 0.5 game ahead of the Bengals in the AFC North. Here’s to hoping the Bengals change all that on Sunday and embarrass the Saints. Am I (still) salty about their win over the Los Angeles Rams last week, you ask? Mebbe.Atlanta Falcons (4-4) at Cleveland Browns (2-6-1)The Falcons welcome a Week 10 matchup against Gregg Williams’ Browns, and they absolutely must walk away with a win in Cleveland today. Sitting at 4-4 in a very tough NFC isn’t ideal, so a loss today - or in the next few weeks - could be devastating for their hopes of a postseason. They’re currently in third place in a tough NFC South www.authenticslosangelesrams.com , and could find themselves contending for a wild card spot with a handful of teams including slow starters like the Eagles (4-4) and Vikings (5-3-1) -- assuming they don’t take their division lead by season’s end. Regardless of how things might shake out by season’s end, scoring less points than the Browns today would be ill-advised. Detroit Lions (3-5) at Chicago Bears (5-3)I don’t figure the Lions stand much of a chance in this one, but it could be an interesting game to watch, considering the Rams play these teams in consecutive weeks coming out of their bye — which is quickly approaching (Week 12). Arizona Cardinals (2-6) at Kansas City Chiefs (8-1)Poor Cardinals...New England Patriots (7-2) at Tennessee Titans (4-4)Only slightly better than the bottom-dwelling Jags and Colts, the Titans find themselves at .500 through nine weeks Los Angeles Rams T-Shirt , and in second place in the AFC South. To stay competitive though, it looks like they’re going to have to pull off another stunner — much like they did against the Cowboys in Dallas on Monday night. Likely? Nah. But rooting for anyone to beat the Patriots comes easy. Washington Redskins (5-3) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5)I’m not sure many folks saw the Redskins, who finished last season with a 7-9 record, leading the NFC East division at the midpoint, but here we are. And the Bucs...well...they’re in a familiar spot. Tampa Bay’s defense is horrible Los Angeles Rams Hats , so the Redskins should be putting up some points today. And that’s fine by Ryan Fitzpatrick, who has no qualms with throwing it 50 times a game. A barn-burner, I hope. Buffalo Bills (2-7) at New York Jets (3-6)Jacksonville Jaguars (3-5) at Indianapolis Colts (3-5)What in the world happened to the Jaguars? This one’s another snoozer between the two bottom dwellers in the AFC South division. Change the channel or Ron Swanson your TV./computer While the Los Angles Rams have had their fair share of close games recently, they’ve taken care of business en route to a 7-0 record, but that was largely against inferior competition. The only elite opponent the Rams have faced in 2018 is the Minnesota Vikings Los Angeles Rams Hoodie , who exposed some flaws that this team has before ultimately succumbing 38-31 in week 4.If last week’s 39-10 beatdown of the San Francisco 49ers is any indications, Sean McVay has his team ready to go as they enter the toughest stretch of their 2018 campaign.I don’t care what their records are, the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints are always dangerous as long as Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees are healthy. The Seattle Seahawks - Russell Wilson in particular - are always a thorn in the side for the Rams. And the Kansas City Chiefs are right behind the Rams in terms of explosiveness.Buckle up, Rams fans. 2018 college football Week 6: Live thread Authentic Dominique Easley Jersey , streaming, TV info Last week football season. You’ve got a clear top tier of four teams (Alabama, Georgia, Ohio St. and Clemson) that clearly aligns with the playoffs. Could things get disrupted? Sure. Hell, OSU needed to overcome a 12-point deficit in the 4th quarter on the road aided by a really, really, really, really, really, REALLY shitty fourth down call from a good Penn St. team in order to stay undefeated. Will is get disrupted? I mean, I’d bet on it...but I’d bet less on it than any year in recent history. So because of that, we’ve got to lean into situational scouting throughout the day with many of the best matchups coming late.Today though, I’m going to take a bit of a different tack and look at some of the draft scenarios the Los Angeles Rams could be facing in the 2019 NFL Draft and how today sets up to solve some of them.Scenario #1: LT Andrew Whitworth gets undone by Father Time and the Rams need a LT1 immediatelyYes, Whitworth is playing fantastically through a quarter of a season. And yes, the Rams drafted Joseph Noteboom in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft. But Whitworth’s time will come at some point, and if you’re just going on faith that Noteboom will pan out, I’d like to reward you with absolutely nothing after Alex Barron, Jason Smith and Greg Robinson. So let’s at least consider this with some sincerity.Alabama OT Jonah Williams is probably the top option here, but (a) should his stock hold, he’ll be gone before the Rams pick and (b) Bama’s playing Arkansas today Youth Marcus Peters Jersey , so no. The latter is at work for Ole Miss OT Greg Little playing UL-Monroe today. You’ve got to wait for those two to get time. Same goes for Wisconsin OT David Edwards, but he’ll go up against Michigan in primetime next week so mark that one down. But Oklahoma OT Bobby Evans gets Texas and DE Breckyn Hager, the younger brother of Rams ILB Bryce Hager, in the Red River Shootout. If you want your early OT fix, this one’s the hit.Scenario #2: None of the Rams’ options at the edge impress and the top obvious need coming out of the season is an EGDEOSU EDGE Joey Bosa and Clemson EDGE Clelin Ferrell could both be top 3 picks.I suppose you could make a case for LSU Tigers LB Devin White here because he could probably play any linebacking position and maybe safety and maybe tight end and maybe running back and maybe return kicks, but I also suppose you could make a case for just watching Devin White play some damn football. With Florida up today, Georgia next week and Alabama in less than a motnh...yeah, watch Devin White play some damn football. And while Mississippi St. EDGE Montez Sweat going up against Auburn in Starkville (CLANGA!) could be very, very, very entertaining, you get Florida St. EDGE Brian Burns and Miami EDGE Joe Jackson in the same game. Take the twofer.Scenario #3: S Lamarcus Joyner hits free agency and the Rams look at safeties earlyI like me some Marqui Christian as much as any Rams fan, but this one could obviously come to pass. Were USC in action with a decent opponent, S Marvell Tell III would be an easy pick here. Not sure there’s a good opponent to gauge Tell against until Notre Dame in late November after Thanksgiving.Alabama S Deionte Thompson? Again, Arkansas...We could get weird here in the Rob-o Bowl with Washington S Taylor Rapp against UCLA.But get on that situational scouting tip and get in a look at Boston College Eagles S Lukas Denis against the #23 North Carolina St. Wolfpack. The Rams could obviously pair him with his former BC teammate, S John Johnson III.Scenario #4: WE NEED A BACKUP QB.This isn’t even a hypothetical. It’s just a fact. Backup QB Sean Mannion is in a contract year, and it would break Rams fans’ collective mind to see him re-signed.Clearly, the Rams aren’t going to touch the top talents with QB Jared Goff now playing the best football of his career. That being said, I’m not even sure who the top talents are right now.Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham faces a very stingy MSU defense. MSU QB Nick Fitzgerald faces a very stingy Auburn defense. So that’s a very good option.Boise St. QB Brett Rypien is very draft hipster if you wanna go that route, and San Diego St. is pretty fun in terms of an opponent ESPECIALLY given BSU’s schedule. Here’s the weird balance with this scenario.Remember about a year and a quarter ago, famed former Rams RB Eric Dickerson called for Mannion to start over Goff. And that’s Sean Mannion. So can you even invest all that much in a QB? Mannion was a third-round pick. Could the Rams legitimize a third-round pick on a QB? Like, if West Virginia QB Will Grier is there in the third http://www.ramsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-andrew-whitworth-jersey , that’s a pretty attractive pick in general. But would it be too disruptive for the Rams with Goff? Grier’s younger brothers, Nash and Hayes, are Instagram superstars/influencers/what the hell evers. I would think they’d be pretty damn interested in heading out to LA...Scenario #5: The Rams head into the draft comfortably being able to draft the best player available throughoutWhile #4 isn’t a future scenario and more of a current one, this one is probably the least likely of the potential scenarios. The Rams have a pretty unique roster set up for 2019.There’s no need to draft a wide receiver. Or a running back. Or a defensive tackle. And there’s no need early to draft a quarterback. And we don’t have a second-round pick thanks to the trade for CB Marcus Peters. So there’s only going to be so many scenarios with the first-round pick, given how late it’s likely to be, that will make sense. And there on, there’s plenty to rule out especially once you start making picks. Could the Rams take a tight end in the first round? I suppose. But then you’re not taking another one the rest of the draft until Round 6 at the earliest.I’m just throwing this out there for general scouting.Looking for cornerback talent? Notre Dame CB Julian Love gets Virginia Tech tonight. And that Auburn-MSU game has a strong duo in Auburn CB Jamel Dean and Miss St. CB Jamal Peters. The tight end thing pique your interest? Missouri TE Albert Okwuegbunam is starting to look very impressive. And Kentucky TE C.J. Conrad isn’t putting up great numbers, but Kentucky football! You can get Conrad and OLB Josh Allen against Texas A&M Aggies and not feel bad about it!Inside linebackers? This is shaping up to be a really good ILB class. Matchup-wise, wait for Notre Dame ILB Te’Von Coney. Talent-wise, you can’t really go wrong. You could pick up Vanderbilt ILB Charles Wright against Georgia and do just fine.Still reading? Offensive linemen! They’re everywhere! But let’s save that for another week. We’re 1,200 words deep with plenty to look at and talk about. Here’s your watch guide with full schedule, TV listing and stream options. The 2018 regular season comes to a close this Sunday for the Los Angeles Rams (12-3) who will host division rival San Francisco 49ers (4-11). A win for the Rams in Week 17 locks up a first round bye in the postseason. A loss could potentially hand the honor over to the Chicago Bears (assuming they win in Minnesota). Can the Rams take care of business at home and rest up during wild card weekend? Or will the 49ers play spoiler on their way out of a tough 2018 campaign? The Turf Show Times’ staff make their predictions...RamBuck (@lannyosu)I think the Rams still have a chip on their shoulder after the two SNF debacles. Last week, the Rams came out and immediately played to the current strengths of the offensive personnel: blowing people off the ball, setting up play action, and working the tight ends into the passing game. Gurley was unavailable, but that wasn’t a problem against the 32nd-ranked run defense of Arizona. The 49er’s have a better defense, but their offense is limited with Pettis, Goodwin and Breida ailing. That puts more pressure on Mullens, which is exactly what the Rams want.Prediction: Rams win, 48-14Eddie Perez (@iAmEddieP_)The season finale will be a simple Rams victory. The San Francisco 49ers are starting their third string QB鈥here ain’t much hope for these folk.Sean McVay’s squad will run the ball with the freshly signed C.J. Anderson (if Gurley can’t go) and they will pound/pounce on the 9ersPrediction: Rams win, 34-9Eric Nagel (@Eric_nagel)Playoff seeding vs pride. Which one wins out?Prediction: Rams win Womens Ramik Wilson Jersey , 31-28Tevin Broner (@T_Bron)I don’t know how this would happen, but this is the 49ers Super Bowl and although the Rams should win easily, there is a chance that the 49ers pull out a hell of an upset.Prediction: 49ers win, 24-21Skye Sverdlin (@skyeattolah)The Niners are ragged, the Rams will be rested (at least for the fourth quarter). The Rams end the season on a high note and we all begin to speculate how this will all translate against playoff teams.Prediction: Rams win, 31-17Kristian Ramirez (@KristianRamirez)Barring a last minute call to sit all the starters, this will end in a Rams victory.Prediction: Rams win, 35-6HotDaddyWags (@hotdaddywags)Too much on the line for the Rams to falter at home here. The Niners, like Sosa, are banged up and looking forward to a rockin’ New Year’s Eve with Ryan Seacrest. Win, and the Rams avoid a potential home rematch with Philly, which, if avenged, would lead to a potential road rematch with Chicago — a gauntlet they’d surely willingly avoid. Pretty sure McVay’s made them aware of the stakes. Book the 2-seed.Prediction: Rams win, 34-17Joey Aucoin (@LARamsRamsRams)This game is gonna be fun. TE Gerald Everett will put up 150+ yards receiving as McVay continues to use both tight ends to great success.Prediction: Rams win, 38-13Brennan Smith (@BrennanJSmith)I’m concerned about the Rams in this one not because they won’t be prepared, but because the 49ers will be playing spoiler and will treat this like a playoff game. CJ Anderson was a huge surprise in the last game and Los Angeles will need similar production this week to keep play action options open and the 49ers’ underrated pass rush off kilter. Aaron Donald, chasing the single-season sack record, will also need to have a big game to keep Nick Mullens off balance and George Kittle contained. I’m also looking (and more realistically hoping) that one of the supporting cast defenders makes a big play or two. Looking at you, Ndamukong Suh and Dante Fowler. San Francisco is an early 10 point dog, but I think they’ll cover that spread with Los Angeles eking out a 31-27 victory.Prediction: 49ers win Youth Brandin Cooks Jersey , 31-27Sosa Kremenjas (@QBsMVP)The Rams are going to go into the playoffs looking better than the few weeks prior. Get ready to sweep the division, folks.Prediction: Rams win, 38-13Sean Wilkinson (@Papa_Lurch)The Rams are playing for a bye week that they need to get healthy. I expect Sean McVay to have this team ready to roll and Aaron Donald to dominate as he reaches for the single season sack record.Prediction: Rams win, 31-163k (@3k_)Well, it’s been a good season of predictions. Each week, I threw out a recipe that had some kind of relation to the opponent. In our first game against the Niners, I went with the idea of gold both from their uniforms but also the nature of their team being named for the gold rush in the mid-19th century. This week, I’ll turn to rice both as the surname of perhaps the greatest wide receiver in NFL history but also as a nod to Rice-a-Roni which, along with being a crap product, is the San Francisco treat.Rice is a wonderful grain with amazing properties. It’s good in almost any format, but I have to admit a bias.My favorite dish on Earth, my “what would you have as your last meal on Death Row” go to is red beans and rice. Like gumbo or jambalaya or really anything of a regional culinary milieu, the best recipe is whatever gets handed down (or off) to you. But that being said, if you’re looking for a starter recipe, you could do worse than this one.Prediction: Rams win, 34-13Brandon Bate (@NoPlanB_)Nick Mullens is their QB. The end. o play today Cheap Kyle Williams Jersey , per a tweet from Ian Rapoport early Sunday morning. Ivory missed last week’s victory over the Detroit Lions due to a shoulder injury that he suffered in the previous week’s loss against the New York Jets. He originally injured the shoulder against the Chicago Bears, and it caused him to miss Buffalo’s Week 10 victory over the Jets. Clearly, the injury has lingered, as he will now miss his second straight game after re-injuring the shoulder two weeks ago.Last week’s starter at running back, Marcus Murphy, suffered a dislocated elbow during the game against Detroit. He has since been placed on injured reserve. That leaves the Bills with two running backs on their 53-man roster. Veteran LeSean McCoy, who missed last week’s game with a strained hamstring strain Bills Corey Bojorquez Jersey , appears ready to play after sitting out one week. Undrafted rookie Keith Ford, who carried 14 times for 46 yards last week in his NFL debut, should be active as McCoy’s backup. The Bills also used fullback Patrick DiMarco as a running back last week to give Ford a breather at times. His lone carry went for 9 yards. Wide receivers Isaiah McKenzie and Ray-Ray McCloud III may also see some carries today, especially if McCoy aggravates the hamstring injury at any point. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers' injured left knee has apparently improved to the point where he can take part in a midweek practice.Green Bay's star quarterback was limited in practice on Thursday as the Packers prepare to face the Buffalo Bills this weekend. It is the first time Rodgers took part in a midweek practice since getting hurt during the season-opening win over the Chicago Bears. The Packers usually practice on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with Thursday being the most intensive day of preparation. Rodgers missed midweek practices the previous two weeks to focus on rehab, while returning for the team's lighter practices on Saturday. The Packers were plagued by inconsistent play in a 31-17 loss to Washington last week Bills Matt Milano Jersey , including drops, a fumble and penalties."When everybody's out there, the attention to detail is greater," receiver Geronimo Allison said after practice. "He demands more as the (potential) Hall of Fame quarterback, as the leader of our team. He demands perfections when he's out there with us."Rodgers missed practice Wednesday again this week, but the quarterback was cleared to practice on Thursday. He still does his usual extensive work with receivers in the film room, too."I'm one who always loves being out there because you're not just competing but you're working on things with the guys and working on the game plan Rafael Bush Jersey ," Rodgers said on Wednesday. "That's the trade-off — not being out there for practice but the trade-off is I can actually get out there and play on Sunday."Just Rodgers' presence alone raises the intensity level on defense, too, coach Mike McCarthy has said."It's good to see your franchise quarterback, your No. 1 player out there. It just kind of brings the spirits up of everybody," linebacker Clay Matthews said.Jimmy Graham also returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday. McCarthy said the veteran tight end was given a "maintenance" day on Wednesday, when he was listed as missing practice with a knee injury.Right tackle Bryan Bulaga was also limited for a second straight day, though it appears the veteran starter should be available on Sunday after leaving last week's loss to the Redskins.Notes: WR Randall Cobb (hamstring) was limited after being added to the injury report on Thursday. ... Starting CB Kevin King (groin) returned to practice for the first time this week after missing the Redskins game. King Josh Allen Jersey , who was limited, said he was day to day. "This was the next step, just trying to get out there and move around. It felt good," King said. ... The availability of Justin McCray (shoulder) for Sunday looks iffy after the starting right guard missed another practice. ... LB Nick Perry (concussion protocol) also missed practice.
ills (0-2) are to pull off the HUGE upset Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings (1-0-1) in Minneapolis Womens Customized Buffalo Bills Jerseys , the offense is going to have to find a way to score points against a talented Vikings’ defense. When prized rookie quarterback Josh Allen directs the Bills offense onto the field, he should have the full services of Kelvin Benjamin, the team’s number one wide receiver. Benjamin, who was limited in practice Wednesday with a hip injury, returned to the practice field Thursday as a full participant. In speaking with reporters after practice, Benjamin, who has three catches for 29 yards and one touchdown in Buffalo’s first two games, said the hip ailment shouldn’t cause him any problems Sunday. “Not at all. I’m all go www.billscheapshop.com , man,” Benjamin said. That’s good news for Allen and a Bills offense that is averaging only 11.5 points per game through a winless start to the season. Slow starts have doomed the team in 2018, with the Bills being shutout in the first half of a season-opening loss to the Baltimore Ravens before being held to a pair of first-half Stephen Hauschka field goals last week vs. the Los Angeles Chargers. This week, Benjamin has the enviable task of lining up against Xavier Rhodes, Minnesota’s talented All-Pro cornerback. “Yeah, Xavier Rhodes will probably be matched up on me, so he will probably follow me around the whole game other than when I’m in the slot or inside,” Benjamin said. “We just got to come off the ball and play physical Buffalo Bills T-Shirt , block on the outside for the runs, and we have to establish the run early. Just go out and play physical. (Play) pitch and catch and get some points on the board.” College football’s bowl season continues with a steady rise in the quality of the match-ups. Henderson has a chance to be the first running back taken in the draft. Center Drew Kyser will have to carry much of the load instead. The Demon Deacons have a much more underrated pairing, with tailback Matt Colburn II and guard Phil Haynes Buffalo Bills Hats , but are nonetheless intriguing. Haynes has the necessary size teams want in an NFL starting guard.Houston vs. ArmyArmed Forces Bowl3:30 PM Eastern, ESPNEd Oliver will be skipping his bowl game in order to prepare for the 2019 Draft, but the Cougars still have cornerback Isaiah Johnson on defense. A senior bowl invitee, Johnson has the size and speed necessary to play outside press-man coverage and could be a late riser. Unfortunately, he won’t have much chance to shine against the Black Knights’ triple-option attack.Buffalo vs. TroyDollar General Bowl7:00 PM Eastern, ESPNThe Bulls are traveling all the way down to Mobile, AL thanks to three players. Receiver Anthony Johnson has dealt with injuries and wasn’t quite the dominant force that he was in 2017. Linebacker Khalil Hodge has been the model of consistency, racking up at least 120 tackles every season he’s played. Quarterback Tyree Jackson has not declared yet Buffalo Bills Hoodie , but at 6’7” and 245 pounds he has the ability to run and pass all over the Trojans. Jackson better at least try to avoid Troy cornerback Blace Brown, a converted wide receiver.Hawaii vs. Louisiana TechHawaii Bowl10:30 PM Eastern, ESPNHe has yet to declare his intentions, but John Ursua has been one of the most productive wide receivers in the country. The Warriors like to line up the 5’10” receiver all over the formation and take advantage of the resulting match-ups. It’s up to the nation’s sack leader,Bulldogs defensive end Jaylon Ferguson, to short-circuit drives and bring down the quarterback quickly. Tech also brings along their massive tackle O’Shea Dugas, who was recently named to the All-Conference USA team.

In the fallout of their playoff loss to the Los Angeles Rams the Dallas Cowboys had some not-so-flattering news surface about their postseason performance.Just one day after their season ended, the Cowboys saw news that they reportedly tipped their defensive scheme. In short Youth Demarcus Lawrence Jersey , Rams players claim to have known what the Cowboys were doing “over 90%” of the time. That wouldn’t be ideal. There were two basic reactions to this news. One camp believes this is commonplace and something that occurs all the time across the NFL. That makes sense honestly and it’s just a matter of most teams keeping their lips sealed when it comes to it.The other school of thought felt this was embarrassing for the Cowboys organization. Sure, teams are aware of trends and habits that they see and study on film, but to know things all the way down to a specific tell? Surely you can prepare better for that. The truth is that it’s probably some mixture of both hings, but how were the Rams able to dissect it so well? Do they do that with every team they face and they only divulged having done it against the Cowboys? Or was their something specific regarding this particular matchup for them?Perhaps the Rams coaches know Rod Marinelli a little too wellRod Marinelli has served as the Cowboys defensive coordinator for some time (and according to him that time isn’t up) and he’s been in NFL circles for far beyond that. Marinelli is one of the league’s more-tenured coaches having had stops in many destinations with Tampa Bay serving as the most successful.Someone else who spent time with the Buccaneers is Rams head coach Sean McVay. He was only there during the 2008 season and one of the quarterbacks there at the time was Chris Simms. You can find Simms covering the NFL for Bleacher Report these days and he floated an interesting theory on the latest episode of the Simms and Lefkoe Podcast. It’s well-known that Rams linebackers coach Joe Barry is the son-in-law of Rod Marinelli - maybe he was hip to the idea that Marinelli’s unit typically has tells?Barry is more than related to Marinelli through marriage, he spent time on the same staff as him during their days together in Tampa Bay. Also part of that staff at one point was current Rams offensive line coach Aaron Kromer. With Barry and Kromer knowing Marinelli so deeply http://www.authenticsdallascowboys.com/cheap-deonte-thompson-jersey , it’s certainly fair to wonder whether or not that familiarity is what tipped them off to what Marinelli would be planning.Los Angeles could have supposedly known what the Cowboys were going to do for any number of reasons. This is one possible explanation and one that happens to make some bit of sense. Make of it what you will. Custom Los Angeles Rams Jerseys
the beginning of the offseason. Here is a quick reminder of the Cowboys’ timeline of transactions at the receiver position:MarchTransactionBefore Dez Bryant was released or Allen Hurns was signed Womens Taco Charlton Jersey , the Cowboys had rumored interest in Sammy Watkins. Stephen Jones has stated that this was an attempt to go after a potential WR1 before eventually deciding on a committee approach. Watkins signed a three-year deal worth $48 million with the Chiefs. This past Sunday, the Cowboys were reportedly shopping around for receiver help after watching their passing offense rank 29th in the NFL through seven games:Whether or not any of these names are on Cowboys fan’s shortlist, they were being discussed within the organization. So, out of Sammy Watkins, Kelvin Benjamin, DeVante Parker, and Amari Cooper, did this team make the right choice? Would they have been better off keeping Dez Bryant? Well Womens Leighton Vander Esch Jersey , let’s examine these four receivers’ careers from 2015-present to find out. We’ll start with how each receiver is currently doing this season:2018Games/ StartsTarg/ Rec.YardsYPCTDCatch %YAC/Rec.EYACEYAC +/-Avg. SeparationTarg. Share %Both Cooper and Watkins are on pace for over 80 targets and close to 60 receptions for around 750 yards give or take. What stands out about newly acquired Amari Cooper based on the above? Well, separation is very important at the position and the average separation for an NFL receiver is set at 2.77 yards. Before the signing, Cole Beasley was the best receiver with 2.5 yards of separation (98th in the league). Cooper is averaging 3.8 yards of separation (ninth-best), which was very much needed in the Cowboys passing game. After 2016, Matt Harmon of Next Gen, rated Cooper fourth in total separation behind Antonio Brown, Odell Beckham Jr., and Terrelle Pryor:Next Gen also shows Cooper in the Top-20 in WR catch rate at almost 71% Youth Allen Hurns Jersey , which is a welcomed sight as only Tavon Austin and Cole Beasley are over 70% in this WR room. This season is just a small sample size, let’s compare these receivers stat lines over the last three seasons. Keep in mind that Next Gen doesn’t have stats available for 2015:2017 *Pro BowlGames/ StartsTargets/ Rec.YardsYPCTDCatch %YAC/Rec.EYACEYAC +/-Avg. SeparationTarg. Share %2015 *Pro BowlGames/ StartsTarg/ Rec.YardsYPCTDCatch %YAC/Rec.Targ. Share %The numbers in parenthesis are where each player ranked in receiving yards that season. Kelvin Benjamin had the best season of the group last year but he’s struggled this season, where he’s caught only 10 of 32 targets. Cooper’s target share has dropped to 17% last year, where he’s typically in the 20+ percent range. Cooper remains the best separator in this grouping and also has more consistent production overall. This next chart will show what their career average expectations looks like based on their production over this same time period:Avg. OutputGames/ StartsTarg/ Rec.YardsYPCTDCatch %YAC/Rec.EYACEYAC +/-Avg. Sep.Targ. Share %It’s pretty clear that Amari Cooper is the most consistent of the options that the Cowboys were looking at. Sammy Watkins may have more upside as far as touchdown catches but only by a small margin compared to Cooper. One thing of note about Cooper’s 19 career touchdown catches, 11 have been from 20+ yards. Kelvin Benjamin just hasn’t been a consistent enough catcher to really consider though his quarterback situation isn’t great either. DeVante Parker misses ample time and has shown flashes in the past, just not enough to give you a reliable top target. There is one more part of this equation of comparisons and that’s former Cowboys receiver, Dez Bryant. How does his last three seasons size up compared to these other guys?Dez Bryant *Pro BowlGames/ StartsTarg/ Rec.YardsYPCTDCatch %YAC/Rec.EYACEYAC +/-Avg. SepTarg. Share %It certainly looks like the Cowboys made the right choice in trading for Amari Cooper over any of these options we’ve looked over. Cooper is only 24-years-old, younger than every other receiver in this exercise. Dez Bryant’s total yards average is higher than everyone except Cooper and Dez was showing some improvement. At the same time Womens Sean Lee Jersey , Bryant fits too closely with Kelvin Benjamin and that’s not a compliment. Bryant’s target share is the highest but he’s also got the second-worst catch rate at less than 50%. Dez is also second to last in separation and dead-last in yards per catch. The Cowboys have a lot of knowledge on Amari Cooper though you can’t trace him back to any of our previous leaked draft boards. He also wasn’t among the Cowboys 2015 pre-draft visitor’s list. It’s most likely because the Cowboys knew that picking 27th in the 2015 Draft was not going to allow them to sniff Cooper plus Bryant was coming off his best season of his career. With that said, Jason Garrett and Scott Linehan are both disciples of Nick Saban, who told the coaches that Cooper needed out of Oakland. It also turns out that tight end coach Doug Nussmeier was Cooper’s offensive coordinator at Alabama for the 2012-2013 seasons and previously coached under Linehan in St. Louis. At least, for now, the statistical evidence says that the Cowboys made the right acquisition but not everyone is content with the price. A first-round pick is a high price around here because of how successful the Cowboys have been in the first-round compared to other rounds. However, don’t worry about that $13.9 million price tag as the front office views it as a two-year plan of sorts. Cooper’s making $790K this year and $13.9 million in 2019 under the fifth-year option trigger pulled by the Raiders. That $14.69 million over the next two years is still much less that they would have paid for Sammy Watkins ($16 million average per season). In the Cowboys’ front office’s mind, they were resigned to spending a first-round pick on a receiver either this past draft but also most-likely in 2019. The Cowboys feel like they have spent a first-round pick on a premier player that will strengthen a receiving corps that desperately needed playmaking potential:In the previous three drafts, Amari Cooper is the only first-round receiver to show WR1 potential. There are talented options upcoming in this class but none would give you what Cooper does right now. Plus Womens Connor Williams Jersey , receiver just so happens to be one of the hardest transitions to make in the NFL though Calvin Ridley looks to be on his way on pace for over 800 yards. After seven weeks of watching this offense struggle mightily in the passing game, the Cowboys are betting that Cooper can be a difference-maker. He not only could potentially save their season but also give them a better opportunity to evaluate Dak Prescott and the coaching staff. After browsing the market of potential suitors at the position, the Cowboys admitted a previous mistake by aggressively fixing it with the best option available. We can’t fault them for that. Cowboys defensive passing game coordinator Kris Richard was in the middle of a pregame exchange with the Eagles before Sunday’s game.Video showed Richard and Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills exchanging shoves.Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones was not a fan of Richard making himself a part of the pregame antics.“No, we don’t want that,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan, via Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News. “I’m sure Kris in hindsight would rather that not happen. Emotions are high. We understand why those things happen, but obviously don’t want skirmishes and creating situations like that. I don’t think it’s the look the league wants. It’s not the look the Dallas Cowboys want. I’m sure it’s not the look the Eagles want either.“Certainly you hate something like that happens, but obviously that was a huge game for us. Our emotions were high on our team. We knew our backs were against the wall Youth Byron Jones Jersey , and coach Richard is an emotional guy. You watch him practice. He’s consistently emotional. He’s high energy and when you get into a big time game like that, we understand those things can happen, so you certainly don’t want it.”The teams mostly traded words, but there was some pushing and shoving as officials quickly separated them.“I don’t get into that,” Cowboys receiver Amari Cooper said, via George. “It looked like it was show and tell.” Custom Carolina Panthers Jerseys
ational League Wild Card Game loss to the Colorado Rockies Carlos Correa Jersey , but they won't be pursuing a generational, 26-year-old talent to bolster their offense this offseason."Not going to happen," manager Joe Maddon said when he was asked if the Cubs would sign Bryce Harper, per Jesse Rogers of ESPN.This comes after Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic (h/t Tony Andracki of NBC Sports Chicago) reported that "the Cubs would love a shot at Harper, though ownership approval continues to appear unlikely, sources say."Andracki noted president of baseball operations Theo Epstein has discussed the budget issues he has been working under throughout the offseason as the team appears to be well on its way to surpassing the $206 million luxury-tax threshold for the 2019 campaign because of previous contracts.Still, the Cubs are in the middle of a competitive, win-now window, having reached the 2015 and 2017 National League Championship Series and winning the 2016 World Series. MESA, Ariz. (AP) — Jerry Blevins didn’t know many of his new Oakland Athletics teammates yet the left-handed reliever said he has felt right at home returning to the team with which he broke into the big leagues back in 2007.The 35-year-old Blevins rejoined Oakland when he signed a minor league contract earlier this month. The A’s have a talented bullpen but right now Ryan Buchter is the only left-handed option currently on the 40-man roster.“I’ve always had a soft spot for Blev,” Oakland manager Bob Melvin said. “He was a guy I had to send up and down for a while, which is difficult to do http://www.astrosfanproshop.com/authentic-jeff-bagwell-jersey , and he’s made a nice career for himself. He has a really good understanding of what he needs to do and is impactful in the clubhouse, too. He’s a smart guy and gets it. It’s nice to have as many of those guys in your clubhouse as you can have.”Blevins has pitched the last four seasons with the Mets but he’s kept an eye on his former team.“It’s like your first love kind of thing,” Blevins said. “You always keep an eye on them, check up on them on Facebook, that kind of thing.”He celebrated his return by posting a handwritten note to Oakland fans on Twitter: “Oakland! Back to where my big league career began. It’s difficult to describe how it feels to return. I’m coming home. That’s it. To the familiar faces by the bullpen and tunnel, right field and left field, I’ll see you soon. I can’t wait to start Chapter 2 of my A’s story. Let’s make it a World Series story.”Blevins compiled a 13-6 record with a 3.30 ERA from 2007 to 2013 with the Athletics. But he’s coming off a rough season with the Mets in which he had a 4.85 ERA over 42 2/3 innings in 64 games.“Up and down, inconsistent,” Blevins said when asked to describe last year. “I never had a clear role. I started slow, got hot Lance McCullers Jersey , got cold, didn’t get traded. Just inconsistent and that’s out of character for me. I just want to get back to knowing what you get when you put me on the mound. That’s been my entire goal this offseason. I feel great.”Oakland’s bullpen, which compiled a 3.35 ERA, second-lowest in the league last season, was one of the reasons the team won 97 games and secured an American League Wild Card spot.“This is a great team and you’ve got a lot of young talent, some good leadership,” Blevins said. “I’m just trying to fit in and do my part. I don’t want to try to lead. I’m just going to fit in. That’s been the gist of what I want to do. I just want to be a left-handed pitcher and contribute as much as I can to a great team moving forward already.”

In 22 relief appearances, he is 1-2 with a 4.91 ERA.Article continues below ...With Cleveland manager Terry Francona tinkering with his starting rotation in preparation for the postseason, Tomlin has made some spot starts recently, the last of those coming Friday, when he got no decision in a 5-4 Cleveland loss to Detroit.Tomlin pitched four innings, allowing two runs and five hits, with two strikeouts and one walk. He’s pitched a total of 1 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing one hit, with one strikeout and no walks. In 16 career appearances (13 starts) against the White Sox, Tomlin is 5-5 with a 3.66 ERA.Although the Indians have clinched the American League Central title, their remaining games are important for some players who might be on the bubble as far as being on the team’s postseason roster. One of those is side-arming reliever Adam Cimber, who was acquired from San Diego in a mid-season trade that also brought closer Brad Hand to Cleveland.Cimber, a right-hander, was very effective in San Diego Dave Winfield Jersey , where in 42 appearances he had a 3.17 ERA and averaged 9.5 strikeouts per nine innings. However, in 23 appearances in Cleveland he has a 4.91 ERA with three strikeouts in 14 2/3 frames.“In some cases, he hasn’t pitched full innings because we have so many left-handers (in the bullpen),” Indians manager Terry Francona said. “He’s also been really unlucky. There have been times when he has made good pitches, but a ball has hit right on the foul line, or there have been some bloop hits.”Shields is completing his 13th year in the major leagues. His last start was an 8-6 victory over Baltimore on Friday, when he pitched six innings, allowing two runs and four hits, with five strikeouts and one walk. In two starts against the Indians this year, he is 1-1 with a 1.93 ERA. For his career, Shields has started 22 games against Cleveland and is 5-8 with a 3.79 ERA.The White Sox, who have lost three in a row, including the first two games of this series, need to win four of their last 11 games to avoid the fourth 100-loss season in franchise history. The White Sox are 0-8 versus the Indians at Progressive Field this year and 3-12 against them overall. said Saturday he feels bad for outfielder Yoenis Cespedes since it's been "extraordinarily tough for him to be on the field" because of lingering injuries.Anthony DiComo of MLB.com passed along comments from the Mets skipper after Cespedes hinted Friday he could need surgery to alleviate long-term heel pain."That's concerning http://www.brewersfanproshop.com/authentic-lorenzo-cain-jersey ," Callaway said. Heel surgery would lead to a recovery timetable of eight to 10 months. The 32-year-old Cuba native played 159 games split between the Mets and Detroit Tigers in 2015 and appeared in 132 contests during his first full season in New York. He's struggled to stay on the field over the last two years, though. He played 81 games last season and has made just 38 appearances so far in 2018."I realize what is causing my problems are my heels," Cespedestold reportersthrough a translator Friday. "When I feel some pain on my heels, I started to modify my walking Jhoulys Chacin Jersey , my running, even my standing. That's the main cause I am having [of] these problems in my leg."If he's planning to undergo surgery, the Mets would likely be better off if he had the procedure soon. They are already fading from this year's playoff race with a 40-55 record, and the projected timetable could put him on track to potentially return for Opening Day next year.If Cespedes waits until the offseason, he'd likely remain sidelined until at least May and possibly all the way through the 2019 All-Star break before rejoining the lineup. He was pulled after just five pitches Saturday when he tweaked his right knee trying to grab a bunt. The 2016 AL Rookie of the Year is 3-12 with a 4.69 ERA this season. After months or even years of complaints about his offense http://www.dallascowboysteamonline.com/jeff-heath-jersey , particularly a perceived lack of creativity and too much predictability, Dallas Cowboys. Multiple sources are reporting this. There is no word yet on how he will be replaced. However, there was one report that had a very hopeful element.Although it is not entirely clear, the implication is that the sources Rapoport used are where the idea of the new direction comes from. If that is true, and not just a projection on the author’s part Womens Byron Jones Jersey , then this is something we have been hoping for. Fans and media alike were becoming increasingly frustrated with formations that tipped the defense, a stubborn insistence on focusing on the run game when offenses in the NFL are successfully trending away from that, not fully utilizing the skill set of Dak Prescott, and a perception that Linehan had too much power in the organization. It certainly appears that the top staff has finally conceded that a change was needed, if not long overdue. And according to one reporter http://www.dallascowboysteamonline.com/tyrone-crawford-jersey , this was something that was motivated by other voices within the Star.It sounds like Linehan had lost the faith of his players. That may be the most important factor in all this, as keeping the locker room behind him has been one of the hallmarks of Jason Garrett’s tenure in Dallas. While he is not going to let his players run things, Garrett likely has a good feel for the tone of things on his roster, and may have realized that Linehan was no longer in a position to be productive, and could soon be a real divisive element. Now the big question is who will take his place. Stay tuned for the latest developments. David Akers is probably still telling people all about how he helped the Philadelphia Eagles take Dallas Goedert away from the Cowboys during the draft a few months back (a fable and not the truth) Womens Brett Maher Jersey , but he might have to tell a different story now regarding Amari Cooper. The Dallas Cowboys got a new number one receiver on Monday when they traded their 2019 first-round pick for the former Oakland Raider. Cowboys fans are definitely interested in what Amari can bring, but they’re obviously troubled by the team paying such a high price. It wasn’t only the Cowboys that were prepared to pay something sizable for Cooper though, at least according to NFL Media’s Mike Silver. The Philadelphia Eagles offered a second-round pick and were outbid by their division rivals. It would have been interesting to see Cooper work with Carson Wentz and Alshon Jeffery inside of Doug Pederson’s offense, but the Cowboys were willing to pay more so they got their guy. If Cooper works out in Dallas this story will be one we re-tell for years to come. How do you feel knowing that Philly was also highly interested in Cooper? Custom Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jerseys
now but we have yet to see him play his first game in the blue and silver. Bye weeks will do that to you.Dallas hosts the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football this week which will be our first opportunity to see Cooper with Dak Prescott throwing to him. It feels like expectations are all over the place which is certainly making waiting for the game a very frustrating thing.Last week over/unders for what Cooper will do this season with the Cowboys were released and people were all over the place as far as what they wanted to take. Remember this is for nine total games that he will play with the Cowboys.Amari Cooper Over/Unders for Weeks 9 through 17If you divide and assume that Cooper would average something consistent across nine total games then you’re looking at 57.5 yards http://www.dallascowboysteamonline.com/la_el-collins-jersey , 4.5 receptions, and a third of a touchdown per game that he’d have to average. Over/unders for how Cooper will do on Monday night against the Titans are out and the yardage falls below that average which could suggest the oddsmakers believe Cooper will make up for it down the road. All of these odds are courtesy of Bovada.Amari Cooper Over/Unders for Week 9 against Tennessee TitansIn six games with the Raiders this season Cooper broke these marks twice in games (at Broncos, Browns). As four receptions would be a push we’re looking for Cooper to have five catches in his Cowboys debut. Through 52 career games in Oakland he had at least five receptions just under half of the time for a total of 24 times. He had at least 51 yards on one more occasion for a total of 25. His history would suggest almost 50-50 chances that this happens. That’s kind of incredible.Things are going to be different on Monday night obviously. Cooper is in his first game with the Cowboys, with Dak Prescott, under Scott Linehan, and a billion other factors. Whether he’ll be able to break those marks is something we’ll all be holding our breath to see, but what do you think? Will he do it? To Beas or not to Beas, that is the question. The future of the Cowboys veteran slot receiver remaining with the team is in doubt as he enters free agency. Recently, Stephen Jones was on the Rich Eisen show and he briefly touched on Cole Beasley’s remarks on social media as the receiver voiced his frustrations about where the ball goes in the offense. Jones quickly refuted the notion that the front office has a role in game-planning and in no way has a say in how the ball is being distributed in the offense.More interesting was when the topic shifted to players the team hopes to keep for the future. Jones brought up DeMarcus Lawrence, Dak Prescott Youth Sean Lee Jersey , Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, and Byron Jones as important pieces to this team going forward, yet Beasley’s name was not one of them. Lawrence was already playing under the franchise tag last season and he’s a clear priority, but none of the other guys mentioned are entering free agency. Prescott still has one more year on his rookie deal. Both Cooper and Jones have fifth-year options exercised so they’re still under contract. And Zeke still has a year left with a potential fifth-year option exercised for him as well. The team could easily not have to worry about Elliott hitting the market until 2021. Yet here sits Beasley, with seven years given to this organization as an instrumental piece in keeping the chains moving, not mentioned despite having a contract that has expired.Sure, all these other guys are big-time players. Every single one of them are Pro Bowlers this season and for most of them - it’s not their first time despite being very young. In fact, the recently added Cooper already has three Pro Bowls appearances in just four years in the league. That equals the Cowboys all-time leader in receiving touchdowns, Dez Bryant Color Rush Byron Jones Jersey , despite Cooper’s career just getting started. But Beasley isn’t chopped liver. He’s been very reliable for this offense over the years. In 2016, he was Prescott’s favorite target, catching 75 passes for 833 yards. Despite having Bryant and Cooper to throw to over the last three seasons, Prescott has frequently looked Beasley’s way as he’s been an important safety net for the team’s young quarterback. It’s not hard to make a case that Beasley’s importance in this offense is pretty valuable, yet it just feels like the writing is on the wall and he’s played his last game in a Cowboys uniform.Beasley’s frustration is just one piece of the puzzle that will likely have him donning a different jersey next season. To be fair, it’s been rocky for the Cowboys offense and Beasley’s had a front row seat. From quarterback changes, to receiver changes, to having a new receiving coach in Sanjay Lal - Beasley’s been through it all. From the quarterback debacle in 2015 to watching his Cowboys brother, Dez Bryant, be tossed aside last offseason - it’s been difficult. And he even had to deal with critics coming from all directions as the receiving group got a lot negativity when the offense was spinning it’s wheels prior to Cooper showing up. Even though Beasley and company were getting open Color Rush Chidobe Awuzie Jersey , it just wasn’t enough to keep the offense rolling and they received the brunt of the blame. And now after finishing up a four-year deal where he’s averaged $3.4 million per season, he’s entering free agency with a palette of work that is not indicative of his true value. That’s got to be frustrating for anyone.Recently, he’s turned to social media to share some frustrations, but none of which is off the rails. It’s one football player who is also a person. He doesn’t publicly put down any teammates. He doesn’t deflect the blame elsewhere. He’s just one guy who doesn’t shy away from being honest, even if it’s things we don’t want to hear.Beasley is a great competitor with a great character. From his no-nonsense attitude to treating us to his “spirit fingers” touchdown celebration, he’s just a guy you love being on the football team you cheer for. But the front office doesn’t make decisions based on fans emotions and there are a few factors that don’t favor Beasley returning to Dallas. We could rationalize that his frustrations with the team would be enough to push him away, but that’s not going to be the deciding factor. Beasley can sweep that under the rug as long as he feels the team is on the right track and he’s someone they plan to utilize in order to be a winning football team. The trickier part comes with appreciation. That is, how many dollars worth of appreciation does the Cowboys front office have for Cole Beasley? Jason Garrett can talk all he wants about what kind of great teammate he is or Stephen Jones can praise him for how much he’s meant to the team, but the proof is in what figures will be on that paycheck. And here lies the problem. The Cowboys have to prioritize their needs wants and let’s face it - there are some expensive contracts looming for this team coming up. They can’t pay everyone or else they wouldn’t have let the team’s single-season rushing leader DeMarco Murray walk back in 2015. And like Murray, the Cowboys may feel they can supplement what Beasley brings to the team by looking elsewhere. Maybe a cheap four-year rookie deal of some new collegiate player? Similar to Anthony Hitchens a year ago Color Rush Joe Looney Jersey , it was tough to let him get away considering he was a key part of the team, but the organization had to make a business decision and look to the draft for his replacement. That was the right call. And thanks to the compensatory pick the team will receive because of Hitchen’s five-year, $45 million deal he received from Kansas City, the Cowboys will have four selections within the top 130 or so picks in this year’s draft. Surely, you’d think they could find a solid slot receiver somewhere in that mix, right? While it would be great to have Beasley back next season, there stands a good chance that some other team is going to value him more than the Cowboys. There will be a team that views him as underutilized and that a change of scenery could jump-start his career and boost his production. Maybe they’re right. With a projected annual contract somewhere between $6-$8 million, it’s hard seeing the Cowboys as his top suitor. He’ll be 30-years-old when the new seasons begins. Would the Cowboys front office be willing to throw a lot of money his way when they have so many other guys they’re going to need to pay when they could shop for a rookie for cheap? That doesn’t seem likely and as much as it pains us to think of Beasley playing for some other NFL team, it’s just looking like that is what the future will bring. At least we’ll always have spirit fingers. Custom Oakland Raiders Jerseys
he 2017 season. Murphy was coming off a season-ending ACL injury and the Washington Redskins let him walk in free agency. Murphy didn't have a great year as far as production goes. He had four sacks in 13 games http://www.authenticsbuffalobills.com/cheap-star-lotulelei-jersey , but his lack of stats are a bigger problem than they are with Jerry Hughes. Hughes generates a flurry of pressure on quarterbacks and is near the top of the league for applying those pressures. Murphy doesn't create nearly the amount of pressure that Hughes does. It’s tough to come back from an ACL injury, and it could have taken him a season just to get back into the swing of things. If the Bills were to move on from Murphy after just one season, they'd save a decent amount of money but would have some dead money with it, giving the Bills only about $1.5 million in cash they can spend.
